A much loved place that is so incredibly local to Kidderminster and Stourport! On a sunny day it feels like you're over the marsh dunes of your favourite seaside location. With wandering highland cows to a tranquil lake on the route there is something for all nature lovers.
This route (map below) is seriously short and sweet, this is the route I often take Gus on and we end up at the lake for over an hour and the hill you can run down (you'll see it!). So if you want a base walk to get used to the place you have plenty of time to explore further afield on your next trip!
The views can span across fields and farm land and over towards Stourport town, you will hear the main road but it doesn't take away from the experience, grab a picnic and you could easily lose a few miles here.
A great place if you have kids that need to burn off some energy or if you are looking for a nice gentle walk to get some fresh air.
Path visibility: A well walked path that varies from dirt, sand and road.
Time: 30-1 hour (we dawdle a lot on this route!)
Footfall: Dog walkers.
Difficulty: Gentle, flat with steady incline and declines
Distance: 1.6miles
