This circular is probably one of my favourites, you cover a lot of ground and get to enjoy nature in so many ways! You really wouldn't think you were just on the edge of Clee Village or close to any town for that matter. We got the day right with the weather and enjoyed strolling through sheep fields and coming across a few untouched 'lakes'. If you're local to the Worcestershire area this is one to visit, relatively untouched land, the track through the fields can be a little shady as I don't think anyone walks them! Watch out for long grass and underground streams.
We parked just on the roadside before Cleeton Lane, you will see cattle grids just before so ensure you close the gates as all this land is sheep grazing. There may be a few handful of people along the main road but as soon as you start walking you are sure to enjoy the walk in solitude. Take a flask of tea and enjoy the climb over and around the back of Clee Hill. Take a seat, have a cuppa and soak in the view!
When walking back you will walk over the top and down the 'front' of Clee Hill which is where you will find the normal walking spots and local car parks.
Path visibility: Visible in places, difficulty finding the path through the fields! BOGGY!
Time: 3 hours
Footfall: This circular walk was quiet, busy on top of the peak.
Difficulty: Gentle, flat with steady incline and declines
Distance: 7 miles
