Earthy Bright Beetroot Latte

One of the most wonderful drinks to enjoy on a cold evening, a great alternative to hot chocolate...and its bright pink! Beetroot lattes improve liver function, boost brain cognition, fights inflammation and improves athletic performance. I use beetroot powder which is just the wonderful beets in a highly concentrated powder.


Ingredients:

1 tbsp Beetroot powder

1 cupSoya/Oat Milk (your preference, 'normal' milk creates mucus within the body which doesn't ease inflammation, soya & oat milk don't.)

2 tsp Agave Nectar





Recipe:

  1. Add milk of your choice to a cup, place milk in saucepan and warm through (do not boil).

  2. Once warmed add the beetroot powder.

  3. Whisk gently... Im making so many I brought a mini hand whisk and its amazing!

  4. Add agave nectar.

  5. Whisk again and serve!

  6. Rose petals optional.

  7. Enjoy!




It really is the simplest recipe ever, much like my turmeric latte its nice to experiment with simple ingredients to make wonderful hot cosy drinks. Ive even made hot chocolate, which ill be sharing soon! You can always add a little more sweetener to your taste, once you become used to the flavour you could add a little maca powder or baobab! x
