Becoming Who I was

An incredible journey following a young Rinpoche, Padma Angdu. This touching story shows the life him and his 'godfather' uncle lead, the studying and strict regime in which Angdu engages in daily within a monastery in the mountains of Ladakh in northern India. The simplicity of life and the genuine emotion and joy within their energies. What made me love this documentary the most was the connection between the two, especially towards the end when they embark on a two month walk from Ladakh to Kham in Tibet. Beautifully filmed, incredible scenery, faces, colours and emotion. I never normally get emotional watching films but this made me well up a few times. If you're into buddhism, travel, philosophy, human connection then you will enjoy watching this. x
